A compact mixed-use development designed to bring housing, commercial space, and neighborhood energy together.RJ O’Connell provided the surveying, site/civil engineering, stormwater management, permitting, and construction-phase services for The 600 in Everett, helping support an 80,000 SF mixed-use development just steps from public transportation and Encore Boston Harbor.

Located in Everett, The 600 brings 85 residential units to a highly connected location, with studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments above active commercial uses. RJOC’s work helped support the site planning, infrastructure, and permitting needed to fit a multi-layered program within a compact urban setting.

The six-story development includes residential units, commercial space, a restaurant, rooftop deck, and 37 parking spaces. RJOC’s site/civil engineering work helped coordinate access, utilities, grading, drainage, and circulation so the property could function efficiently for residents, visitors, tenants, and service needs.
With proximity to public transportation, commercial activity, and Encore Boston Harbor, The 600 adds new housing and ground-floor energy to an evolving Everett corridor. RJOC’s work helped create the technical foundation for a project designed to make smart use of location, density, and access.
