Rich has over 27 years of experience in civil engineering and land development. He has been responsible for civil engineering design for private sector clients on a multitude of projects ranging in scope from 10,000 square feet to over 2 million square feet. In addition to his private sector experience, Rich is also familiar with the public sector of the engineering profession as having worked for Massachusetts Highway Department. His work experience culminates in a thorough knowledge of the local, state, and federal regulatory process for land development projects located throughout the northeast. Prior to starting RJO’Connell & Associates in 2004, Rich spent the previous five years managing the Boston office of a national engineering and architectural consulting firm. He is a registered professional engineer in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, and New Jersey. Some notable projects Rich has been involved with include the expansion and renovation of Natick Mall and Shopper’s World – Natick and Framingham, MA, Burlington Mall expansion and renovation (2nd level) – Burlington, MA, Jefferson (JPI) Apartments at Den Rock – Lawrence, MA, Jordan’s Furniture Distribution Center – Taunton, MA, South Bay Center – Boston, MA, The Loop and Loop West – Kissimmee, FL, Target Stores – Windsor, CT, Easton, MA, and Haverhill, MA.

Brian has over 20 years of experience in civil engineering and land development. He has managed numerous projects located primarily in the New England area ranging in size from 10,000 square feet to upwards of a half a million square feet. He is responsible for all site/civil engineering services associated with those projects from project planning through engineering design, permitting and construction. Prior to joining RJO’Connell & Associates, Brian spent the previous two years managing the civil/land development department of a national engineering and architectural consulting firm. Brian is a Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Some notable projects Brian has been involved with include the following: The Marketplace at Augusta – Augusta, ME, South Shore Plaza expansion and renovation – Braintree, MA, Maine Crossing – S. Portland, ME and numerous CVS and Wal-Mart stores located throughout New England.

Brian has over 20 years of experience in civil engineering and land development. He has managed numerous projects ranging in size from 30,000 square feet to upwards of three quarters of a million square feet. He is responsible for all site/civil engineering services associated with these projects from project planning through engineering design, permitting and construction. Brian has the ability to create and maintain strong professional relationships with his clients and prides himself on maintaining client satisfaction with his proven track record of repeat work from some of the most prominent developers in the New England region. As Principal/project manager and prime consultant, he has led and managed consultant teams through the design and permitting process on several major projects in both urban and rural environments. Roy has over 20 years of Civil Design, Project Management and Department Management in a varied project mix. He has masterplanned, designed, permitted and overseen the construction of commercial, retail and telecommunications projects throughout New England. Prior to joining RJO’Connell & Associates, Roy was the director of Engineering for the Worcester office of a prominent regional consulting engineering and survey firm and prior to that a Senior Project Manager with the Boston Land Development Unit of a national engineering/architectural firm.
