RJ O’Connell is supporting Franklin Grove Apartments at 121 Grove Street in Franklin, MA – a 330-unit residential development currently under construction and anticipated to open in 2027. RJOC’s work has helped guide the project from planning and permitting through site/civil engineering, stormwater design, and construction-phase services.

Franklin Grove Apartments is planned as a five-building residential community with one, two, and three-bedroom apartment homes, an on-site clubhouse, pedestrian walkways, and outdoor amenities. RJOC’s planning and engineering work supports a site layout designed to balance residential density, circulation, open space, and the surrounding natural context.

With 30 acres near the Franklin State Forest area, the site required a careful approach to grading, drainage, environmental conditions, and infrastructure. RJOC designed integrated underground and surface stormwater management systems that respond to the property’s topography while supporting long-term site performance.
