In an ongoing effort by Market Basket to rebrand and expand its existing stores to meet the needs of its customers, DSM Realty undertook a major renovation program to expand the Market Basket presence at the North Andover Mall, located on the North Andover/Lawrence town line. RJOC was the lead consultant for preparing permit applications and engineering design plans to obtain permit approvals. Sitework construction commenced in the fall of 2024 with the requirement that the mall remain open to the public.

Market Basket opened its new store under Phase I of the renovation program in the fall of 2025, with Phase II scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2026. Upon completion of the site renovations, improved pedestrian access will be provided from the abutting roadway network, increased landscape areas, and parking lot upgrades designed to improve both internal traffic circulation and pedestrian connectivity to the tenant storefronts. An enhanced on-site stormwater management system has been designed, which emphasizes pollutant removal and phosphorus and nitrogen loading reductions.
