Project Engineer

The candidate is a highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter professional to join our team as a Civil Engineering Project Engineer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of civil engineering design for residential, commercial, and industrial type projects.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Land Planning

• Prepare or oversee the preparation of due diligence and feasibility reports

• Preparation of engineering design plans suitable for submission to government agencies for permit approvals.

• Preparation of engineering reports and studies (i.e. storm water reports, development impact reports, storm water pollution prevention plans) suitable for submission to government agencies for permit approvals.

• Coordinates work with both in-house and outside design professionals assigned to projects.

• Perform Construction Administration/Observation Services.

• Work directly with Project Managers and Principals of the firm

• Mentor junior staff.

Qualifications and Skills

• Candidate shall have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification.

• 5-6 years of experience.

• Candidates must possess a strong understanding of the fundamentals of site/civil engineering, including utility design, grading, storm water management design, land planning, etc.

• Strong technical and analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency with civil design tools, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydro CAD and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)

• General understanding of Land Use Permitting Process

• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
